August 2023 Newsletter
We remain positive through the Hurricane Ian disaster [September 28, 2022], the continual repairs to our home, the many banking situations [six theft attempts to date], our health issues, plus the need to purchase and set up a new computer, office printer, and cell phones.
Another measure of protecting our bank accounts is that we have swapped out our cell phones for the latest and greatest that technology offers. I stayed with a Samsung Android phone and Una stayed with an iPhone. One thing happened by doing this; we lowered our phone bill! Not sure how that happened, but we will take it. Verizon threw in a Google Pixel Watch LTE. Oh, the marvels of mankind.
We cut ties with the company that was hosting our old website for fifteen years; it should be completely shut down by the time you receive this newsletter. The old site was officially replaced by FaithfulLifePublishers.com and ChurchMinistrySolutions.com, along with PrintThisForMe.com. As a reader of this newsletter, you were informed of the new sites months ago! A ton of work still needs to be put into the FaithfulLifePublisher.com website. I'm not sure it will ever get done to the point that I am content with it.
We never have a dull moment around here!
We continue to move forward ... with your prayer support!!
Lord bless, my friends!!!

.. one of the crewmembers working on our home after the hurricane approached us about designing a gospel tract based on their daughter, who has leukemia.
... those who needed help with their graphic arts programs, especially Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. We can also assist with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint programs. By the way, we only use PC programs in our work. This is a monthly occurrence.
... every person with a printing project. We critique each job and always look for ways we can improve their print projects. If we find an issue, we will correct the customer's print project rather than return it (if possible). We make sure each print job is the right size (if the print goes to the edge, we make sure they added .125 inches, making a 4 x 6 job, 4.125 x 6.125) for bleed; move text when it is too close to the edge; and we change files if they were not submitted as RGB, instead of CMYK. The list of technical help goes on to ensure that each customer receives the best print job possible. We invest much time and effort into this and don't charge extra. Why? Because it is part of our ministry.
... any church or person that needs new tracts or Little Messages. We will place their contact information on them without charge.
... previous customers who need changes made to their last print job. We provide those changes for free.

A Marriage Made in Cana
The story of the marriage in Cana is fascinating for many reasons. There is much to learn in the eleven verses that give the account of this event in John 2. There is much more here in addition to the great miracle. This story very much depicts our personal salvation, how marriage should work, and the soon coming of our Bridegroom to retrieve His bride. The fact that this is the first public miracle Jesus performed is significant.
Jay E. Adams new cover designs
I have been hired to design their covers and prepare most of their book interiors for the last few years. They are available through their website, Institute for Nouthetic Studies | Biblical Counseling
The Forgotten God
The Forgotten God is the scriptural description of the HOLY SPIRIT. The Lord Jesus Christ called Him the ADVOCATE, which combines the meaning of comfort and counsel. Also, the ADVOCATE is the SPIRIT OF GOD Himself, who was sent to care for and to guide the BELIEVERS.
The HOLY SPIRIT is the regenerating power that transforms the believer into the image and likeness of the Lord Jesus. The HOLY SPIRIT permanently lives with our spirit when we believe. The body of the believer is the TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. God wants us to live a holy life. The Scriptures say, “You must be holy, because I am holy” (I Peter 1:16). When we live to please ourselves, we live in the flesh. That attitude brings sorrow to the HOLY SPIRIT.
The bottom line is that without the HOLY SPIRIT’s power in us, there is no spiritual life! This book is written to encourage us to give the HOLY SPIRIT the respect due to HIM as one of the persons in the TRINITY. Jesus, in His earthly ministry, followed the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT IN EVERYTHING He said and did! I pray that all of us would follow the leading of the HOLY SPIRIT as children of God.

Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:
We can't tell you how much these two verses have come to mean to us over this year. The verses help us to focus properly on the work that God has called us to do. Thanks for your prayer support to assist us in laying up treasures in heaven.
Gospel of John and Romans
A church that gives a Gospel of John and Romans Gift Edition booklet may touch the lives of people who may not know Him or have access to a Bible. This Gift Edition presents the core message of Christianity from the King James Version: God's love, grace, and salvation through faith in Jesus.
By giving out these booklets, a church can help people discover who Jesus is, what He has done for them, and how they can have a personal relationship with Him. The booklets can also encourage people to read more of the Bible and join a caring local church where they can grow in their faith and fellowship with other believers.
On the back cover, the plan of salvation is spelled out. Your church address will be given. We can make these available on websites like Amazon.com for sale/distribution worldwide. We will create a special cover for you. Click on the button below for more front cover designs on our website.
REPEATING THIS TRACT – GOD CARES FOR YOU
Everyone needs to understand that God cares for us and that His hand of strength will get us through. Who do you need to encourage today? There is room to write a brief word of encouragement on the back. This is a nice tract to distribute as you travel on your vacation.
In His Hand
In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. Psalm 95:4
The back reads: Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God ... for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:6-7
We gladly print our tracts with your church information. Be sure to come to Church Ministry Solutions to see all our tracts and Solutions for our Savior.

AUGUST SPECIAL EVENTS
Always be mindful of special days and holidays that may emphasize a need for passing out tracts and Little Messages. We have Little Messages that will address most calendar events, which you can find on our website.
- VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL may be happening in August at your church. Can we help you with tracts, banners, or printed materials?
- August – School is probably starting in your area. Do you have an outreach to children as they think about their future?
- Police and Emergency Service Providers may be especially busy during these summer months. The recipients will deeply appreciate the following Little Message. They need to know that you and your church care!
WE WILL PRAY
This Little Message reassures those who protect you that you will be there for them in prayer. The back of the tract reads:
Psalm 91:1-3 speaks loudly to those whom we pray for, He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee...
We will pray! But have you put your trust in Him?

When a church, ministry, or person orders new tracts or Little Messages, we place their contact information on them without charge. This helps to keep the overall cost of tracts down considerably. Many times, we design all of our printed items for free if we are going to print them for churches or ministries.

We sense there will be a large need in the days ahead as we strive to do more printing for ministries in need. We really could use your financial help. We gave out more financial funds than we raised during the months of May and June.
We provide two different donation platforms.
Use the blue bar below to donate through the Better World platform. Or, if you prefer to use a more popular platform, you can click here to donate through PAYPAL. Both platforms are secure.

These three ministries continue to need printing from us. Please pray for them and consider a love gift so that we may be able to assist them more.
HOPE FOR BRAZIL MINISTRIES – "The Ice Boat Ministry"
On Sunday, June 18, our ministry team at Igreja Batista Church in the city of Manaus hosted a BREAKFAST & BIBLE event for the children who live in the area of their Compassion Center.
Nearly 50 children attended the event. Hope for Brazil Ministries helps these children by providing them with a daily meal. For many of them living in this impoverished area of the city, this is the only meal they will eat in a day.
After breakfast, the children heard a Bible lesson and were given small gifts, including the colorful Smile Jesus Loves You fold-over tract. This tract clearly spells out the Gospel, the "good news" of Jesus Christ, which many of these children have already received and will share with others, including those living in their homes and neighborhoods.
Please join us in praying for these Breakfast & Bible events, the daily meals these children receive, and for reaching these young homes for Jesus Christ.
SEA HOPE
Puerto Rico, we busied ourselves getting SEA HOPE ready for one of our most ambitious trips yet. The trip centered around carrying a 9-person team from Medical Missions Outreach and 11 crew members, six of which were on their first trip aboard SEA HOPE. In addition, we carried around 17,000 pounds of food, about 2000 pounds of hospital supplies, and 250 folding chairs. While in port, we also replaced about 20 missing boards on the pier. The medical team saw 815 patients, and 70 salvation decisions were made. We praise the Lord for those that met the Great Physician. As the medical team prepared to depart the ship, MMO Missions Director Robbie Ellis stated, "We started as two different teams but ended up as one serving together for the cause of Christ.” All I can say is Hallelujah, Praise the Lord.
Marina Update
When we returned to our marina Safe Harbor Puerto Del Rey, we learned we must leave by the end of July. The marina has decided to stop allowing docking on the seawall where we have been for the past 25 months. As of this writing, we are not sure where we will move to but we trust the Lord to open a door for us. Our desire would be to move to San Juan Harbor, but where He leads, we will follow. Change is never easy, but we know He knows best. Please pray He gives us a plain path.
BECA PAPE: Second-Generation Missionary
Beca has reached 70% support this month! It is so exciting watching God move and answer her prayers! She is currently planning on leaving for the field in January of 2024. She was pushing for November, but the timing is looking better for January and she has decided it would be wiser to go ahead and wait. Please continue to pray for her as she wraps up her deputation journey!
